Matt Strickland - Psychologist

Helping Families Be Their Best

Matt has been a Psychologist for over 25 years in a variety of settings and has worked exclusively with children, teenagers and families since 2004. Matt believes in including families in therapy and feels the therapeutic relationship is key to positive outcomes. He believes getting to the core of the problem is essential for creating meaningful change.  Matt is also happy to work with parents for their own therapy.

Jessica Martens - Psychologist

Jessica is a Registered Psychologist with experience working with children, teens and adults, with a vast range of referral reasons and presentations. Jessica also specializes in conducting assessments, including, Autism, cognitive and functional assessments. Jessica is passionate about helping clients achieve meaningful change in their lives, placing a strong emphasis on creating a respectful therapeutic relationship and appreciates each client’s uniqueness.  Jessica is passionate about walking alongside clients as they work towards their goals and towards thriving in life.  She eagerly awaits the opportunity to meet and work with you, providing compassionate and affirming support.

Nikki Goodwin
Accredited MH Social Worker

Nikki is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with a wide range of experience in providing counselling and therapy for children, teenagers, and families. Nikki’s work centres on the relationship with the individual, and the family of young people to help create lasting change. Nikki has worked with a range of experiences such as gender and sexually diverse community (LGBT+), anxiety and depression, Autism, ADHD and body changes. 

Mental health care plans accepted and NDIS available.

Dr. Sally Wessels - Psychologist

Psychological Therapy and Assessment

Sally has 25 years’ experience in psychological services.  She has a masters and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (South Africa).  She has worked extensively with families and children throughout her career in South Africa, England and Australia. Sally believes strongly in the importance of early intervention and in working collaboratively with parents. She specializes in learning disabilities and in cognitive and functional assessments. Sally enjoys working with people of all ages and believes in a holistic, inclusive approach.

Annette Bex
Child Youth & Family Counsellor

Annette has 25+ years of experience working with children, young people and their families and feels very passionate about empowering families in their journey. Annette draws on people’s strengths and abilities whilst facilitating the healing process. She uses a variety of modalities in her trauma informed work, including play therapy, expressive therapies and narrative therapy.

Annette is a founding member of the Australasia Pacific Play Therapy Association (APPTA). She is currently registered with APPTA as a Play Therapist and Play Therapist Supervisor, whilst continuing to be an advocate in the development of Play Therapy through her work and through APPTA.

Sarah Mooy
 Psychologist & Contextual Behaviour Analyst

Meaningful change through connection, science, and compassion

Sarah has been dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and families for over 25 years in the UK and Australia, with 15 years as a registered psychologist. Sarah has worked across education, home, and private practice settings with neurodivergent individuals & their families. Sarah also supports children and teens who are seeking help with their mental health and believes it is crucial to work with caregiver and education systems. Sarah works in a collaborative, functional, and creative way, providing a non-judgemental space to explore what is uniquely helpful for young people and their families. GP referrals and NDIS (self and plan managed) accepted.
